Privacy policy

Last updated October 8, 2026

This policy explains what information html-color.org (“HTML Color”, “we”) collects when you use the site, and how it is used.

The color tools run in your browser

There are no accounts, sign-ups or forms. The colors you enter, the palettes you build and the images you open in the color-from-image tool are processed on your device and are not sent to us. Tool settings you share appear only in the page URL.

The site stores one value in your browser’s local storage: your light or dark theme choice. It never leaves your device, and you can clear it in your browser settings.

Advertising

The site is funded by ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites, to limit how often you see an ad and to measure ad performance.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web server, it receives technical data with each request, such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested. Cloudflare uses this to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, and we use error logs only to fix problems. We do not use this data to identify you or build profiles, and we do not sell personal information.

Your choices and rights

You can block or delete cookies in your browser and use the opt-out links above. Depending on where you live, for example in the EU, UK or California, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, or to object to its use. Since we hold no account data, most requests are best directed to Google for advertising data; we will help with anything we hold.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
